Sustainable DKU

Sustainable DKU is the central hub for student involvement in on-campus climate-friendly practices. As the pioneering force behind the Duke Kunshan University Sustainability Report, Sustainable DKU is each student’s point of contact to educate and immerse themselves in sustainable living. Each year, SDKU hosts events, seminars, guest speakers, and release living guides to educate students and staff alike on how to best integrate sustainable practices into everyday life. Such events include thrift stores, guest lectures from Duke professors, and biweekly documentary screenings.

SDKU also promotes student research, such as the measurement of canteen and dorm building food waste as well as collaborations with student organizations across all different interests, from film to vegan living.
