HiveMinds is DKU’s hub for sustainability, wellness, and cross-cultural connection – all through the world of bees. We explore the role of honey bees in our ecosystem and society, while also using beekeeping as a unique bridge between students, the wider Kunshan community, and the native environment around us.
From regular trips to beehives at Yancheng Lake to selling raw, local honey, HiveMinds inspires students to engage with nature, appreciate local food systems, and take initiative in shaping the club’s direction – whether that means dreaming up a future hive on campus, launching honeybee research, or sparking conversations that cross borders and disciplines.
We are more than just bees, though. We are also a wellness and social club – organizing mindful walks, meditations, film screenings and even parties. Whether you are into sustainability, health, culture, or just curious what all the buzz is about, HiveMinds is a place to grow, together.
