Plant Futures DKU is dedicated to shedding light on the food systems piece of climate change. According the NIH, we simply cannot meet the Paris Accord’s Climate target without reducing global dependence on animal products. A co-chapter to 100+ schools across North and Latin America, we host movie nights, giveaways, speakers, and more, all surrounding sustainable, plant-based food. Some of our highlights include partnering with Oatly China to give away 200+ ice creams, hosting ethicist Peter Singer, and leading a plant-based food fair in collaboration with dozens of cultural clubs at DKU.
